What Kind of emla® Should I Ask For?

emla® comes in a variety forms, and you can select the option that is best for you. If you’re unsure of which form of emla® to use, ask your pharmacist.

emla® Patch:
Box of Two

If you’re planning to use emla® only occasionally, or want to use emla® for an upcoming vaccine, this pack comes with 2 individual emla® patches.

emla® Patch:
Box of Twenty

If you’re planning to use emla® frequently for needle procedures and vaccines, this pack comes with 20 individual emla® patches.

emla® Cream:
5g Tube With Two Tegaderm® Dressings

If you’re planning to use emla® only occasionally, this pack comes with a 5g tube of emla® (two doses) and two dressings.

emla® Cream:
Five 5g Tubes With Ten Tegaderm® Dressings

If you’re planning to use emla® frequently, this pack comes with five 5g tubes of emla® (ten doses) and ten dressings.

emla® Cream:
30g Tube

emla® is also available in a 30 g tube without dressings. Remember, if you’re planning to use this tube of emla® use an air-tight dressing to cover the cream. emla® Cream must be covered with a dressing for effective application.
